Sharing the PS2's console BIOS or ROMS of its games are the legal no-nos. We have found this happens the most with the Direct3D 11 renderers.( Source [Originally posted by Pangolin Legends: Arceus:Isn't the issue that Sony fiercely go after people sharing the ps2 firmware files or am I as wrong as a banana in a pint of beet? It shouldn’t have a real detriment on performance but it is of course far from ideal and hopefully something we can fix soon with the help of some contributors. We have not been able to figure out how to fix that yet as the PCSX2 codebase is a definite case of ‘here be dragons’, but for now when this happens, you can just bring up the Task Manager and close it manually.

There’s a bug that can happen right now upon closing content or exiting RetroArch with the PCSX2 core on Windows – the RetroArch process might not completely cleanly shut itself off and you might still be able to see a 0% CPU process remaining in the Task Manager. Still slightly buggy thoughĭevs are already aware of this bug.

Can't seem to find it in Task Manger either to force end it either.Įdit- found it in Task Manager and was able to close RetroArch. But exiting RetroArch didn't end its process. Got it working after some searching on how and finally finding the proper core. I apologize if I said something wrong, because English is not my mother tongue and I don´t use it very often.Originally posted by Chewy102:It might be a bit buggy at the moment though. If I go Run->Execute, it crashes at "Sony computer entertainment". When I want to play the game, I choose File->Run CD/DVD. In Speed Hacks I chose "Use x1.5 Cycle Rate", and I checked every option except these experimental one. In CPU Config I checked everything, in frame limiting I chose VU Skip. I chose "GSDx890(MVSC 15.00, SSE2) 0.1.14" (graphics), "P.E.Op.S SPU2 1.9.0"(sound), "LilyPad svn (r1034) 0.10.0" (controllers), "Linuzappz Iso CDVD 0.7.0" (Cdvdrom I chose ISO after I used deamon tools), and my bios is: "Europe v01.60() Console". Is this the problem? Is it too slow? Because once I succeeded to run it but I could not see players so I deleted that emulator and I cannot remember what options I chose then. My CPU is AMD TURION MK38(tm)64 Mobile Technolohy MK-38, MMX, 3DNow, 2.2GHZ. Then windows xp reports that there is a problem and application needs to be closed. When I try to play Tekken 5, it says: "now loading" in right corner.
